BSc Studies
My bachelor studies (which are actually recognized as an equivalent of a Masters degree in most countries of the world apart from Greece (it is 5 years of studying after all) consisted of 9 semesters of courses and 1 final one of writing a thesis.
BSc Thesis
Title: 802.11b Wireless Networks Security
Supervisor: Professor Spirakis Paul
Description: Security methods and problems, existing intrusion detection systems in 802.11b networks. Proposition of a method for providing additional security mechanisms and implementation of a monitoring, diagnosing and intrusion alerting tool (KisMyWIDS) for known vulnerabilities of the 802.11b protocol. Development of a web front-end using PHP and Mysql.
